How much does it cost to post a listing?
It's free to post listings. Guest listings remain active for 7 days, but if you join BostonBargains your listing will last for 90 days.
How much does it cost to join?
There is no charge for joining BostonBargains. Only Premium Alerts have a charge.
Do I need an account to post?
No. You can post a guest listing without an account — we'll email you a private link to manage or remove it. Creating a free account gives you longer-lasting listings, alerts, and member chat.
How do the MBTA distance filters work?
When you browse or search, you can filter listings by how close they are to a specific subway or commuter rail line. It's a quick way to find things along your daily commute.
What is the difference between Alerts and Premium Alerts?
Alerts are free for members and email you when new listings match a saved search. Premium Alerts add instant notifications, more saved searches, and distance & MBTA filtering. Premium Alerts are the only paid feature on the site.
How do I contact a seller?
Members can use secure on-site chat. For guest listings, each listing has a private relay email address so you can get in touch without exposing anyone's personal email.
How long do listings stay up?
Guest listings last 7 days. Member listings last 90 days. You can renew, edit, or remove your listing at any time.
Is my personal information safe?
We use private relay email addresses for listings and never display your real email to other users. See our Privacy Policy for details.
How do I report a suspicious listing or user?
Use the Report a Problem page, or the report link on any listing. Also review our Safety Tips.
Does BostonBargains support two-factor authentication (2FA)?
Yes. 2FA is optional and free. You can enable it with Google Authenticator (or any authenticator app) from your dashboard. See our 2-Factor Authentication guide for step-by-step setup instructions.
